Editorial Standards

Blockchain Pulse covers one beat: what blockchains actually do. These standards describe how we work and how readers can hold us to them.

## Sourcing

Claims about protocol behavior, network activity, or asset flows must trace to primary material: protocol documentation, client or node software, on-chain data, regulatory filings, or attributable reporting. Secondary coverage is cited, never laundered as original verification.

## Reporting vs. analysis

Reporting describes what happened. Analysis interprets what it might mean. The two are labeled explicitly and never blended in a single passage. Price commentary is always analysis, and it is framed as such.

## Corrections

Material errors get visible corrections: a dated correction note at the top of the article describing what changed and why. We do not make silent edits to published facts.

## Conflicts

Writers disclose holdings, employment, or advisory relationships relevant to assets or protocols they cover. Coverage of a project with which a contributor is financially involved is either reassigned or disclosed at the top of the piece.

## Review process

Technical claims are checked against primary sources before publication. A second reader reviews every story for sourcing, labeling, and tone before it ships.
